Dear Parent and Carers,
Currently, parts of the UK and Europe are seeing an increase in the number of people getting measles. In response to this, Public Health Scotland has prepared the attached letter for parents and carers of P1 pupils. This letter raises awareness of the importance of the MMR vaccine in protecting against measles and provides information on what parents/carers can do to make sure their child is up-to-date with vaccinations. It contains a QR code for accessing translated versions in Arabic, Mandarin, Punjabi, Polish, Ukrainian and Urdu.
We would also like to inform you that a photographer from the Evening News is coming into school to take Primary 1 class photos on Monday 28th August and we would appreciate if the children could come to school that day wearing school uniform. The photos will be published in the Evening News at a later date.
