Monday Outdoor Learning Workshops
Classes in Primary 1 to Primary 4 will be taking part in Outdoor Learning workshops on Monday 7th November. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for being outdoors i.e. waterproof and warm clothes.

P2 and P3 Book Bags
Primary 2 and 3 Read, Write, Count Bag During Book Week Scotland, your child will receive a free bag of books and activities from the Scottish Government’s Read, Write, Count Campaign. The bag is designed to help you and your child to have fun with reading, writing and counting at home. Tricky Ricky
We are delighted to announce that Tricky Ricky will be performing his Hallowe’en Magic Show to Primary 1-3 in school on Friday 28th October. On this day, the children can come dressed in Hallowe’en costumes, but we ask that they do not wear masks. The cost of this is £2.30 per child and should be paid on Parent Pay by Friday 14th October.

Outdoor Learning Timetable term 1
Attached are the timetables for Outdoor Learning that starts on Monday 23rd August. On days when classes have outdoor learning pupils should not wear school uniform but clothes that can get muddy. The woods look amazing at the moment and we are looking forward to getting back outdoors with classes.

Return to School & Week 1 PE timetable
We are very excited to be welcoming back everyone tomorrow. Staff have been working hard to get classes ready with the school being closed for most of the holidays. Some trees were removed from Pansy Walk by the gate over the holidays and we have had parts of the playground repaired in the P3-7 area. Attached is a PE timetable for this week with classes getting a shorter block, there will be a new timetable posted starting from next week....

Start Times for Balgreen Primary
Below is a table with the starting times and end times for P2-7 classes from Wednesday 18th August. Primary 1 classes have separate times Wednesday/Thursday this week that were issued before the holidays. With COVID guidance seeing a gradual relaxing of the need for bubbles we are moving classes to stage bubbles that will see both classes at each stage entering the school at the same time eg. P3a and P3b will now start at the same time of 8.50am....

Balgreen - Last Day of Term
We are confirming with you the times for the last day of term which is Friday 25th June. Primary 1a, 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a, 6a and 7a will finish at 12noon Primary 1b, 2b, 3b, 4b, 5b, 6b and 7b will finish at 12.10pm.

P7 Snack Delivery Service - Thursday 3rd June
Due to current Covid 19 restrictions we are unable to have our P7 cafe' as an alternative we are providing a snack service on Thursday 3rd of June, snacks will include Golden Wonder crisps, Twix, Timeout, Custard Creams, Shortbread, Kinder Cereal Bar, Milkyway Crispy Rolls and a selection of a few others.
