Healthy Eating School
Balgreen Primary School endeavours to be a “Healthy Eating School” and we have discussed at assembly today the importance of bringing healthy snacks for morning break.
The children suggested that cereal bars, a piece of fruit, a small bag of baked crisps, vegetable sticks, a lo-sugar biscuit or a small sandwich would be appropriate. Children should not bring in sugary sweets, large ‘share’ bags of crisps or whole packets of biscuits.
We would appreciate that parents and carers support this by sending in one healthy snack with their child each day.
Many thanks,
Balgreen Primary School
