Ramadan Assembly 2023

Building on our work in relation to diversity, we are planning a Ramadan Assembly on Wednesday 22nd March. Ramadan and Eid al Fitr form part of our school "Culture Calendar" which was created by pupils. We would like children to learn about this  religious period and have the opportunity to ask any questions. We would like to ask for help from our school community. 

Are you able to help with any of the following: 
- Share information with children about Ramadan and Eid al Fitr (traditions, celebrations, rituals etc.) 
- Work in collaboration with school to plan an assembly 
- Share some examples of food eaten or traditions which take place during this time 
- Be available during school assembly to answer any questions 
- Anything else you feel would be beneficial
