Red Nose Day

On Friday 18th March we will be celebrating Red Nose Day at Balgreen with a Bake Sake and Fancy Dress.

Pupil Council class representatives were keen to do a bake sale, which always go down well with children (and staff) and are are great way of raising money, however, we will require donations of cakes and baked goods from you. If you are able to help with this, it would be greatly appreciated. 

We ask that all baked good come in sealed containers and if children are involved in the baking process they are reminded of the importance of hand washing. Donations can be brought into school with children on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th March in the morning and will be gathered together.

On Friday 18th March, children can come to school dressed in something red or as a superhero (this year's Comic Relief theme). Each class will get the opportunity to buy something from the bake sale - items will range from 20p/50p for a small cake to £1 for a larger one. Children will be allowed to buy one larger item or two smaller items max - to try to ensure everyone gets something!
