Sponsored Walk Reminder

A reminder about our sponsored walk on Monday 4th November.  The weather is currently looking dry so fingers crossed it stays that way.  We are really hoping to boost our school fund with the sponsorship from your friends and family.  

Children can wear joggers/sports leggings if they wish and comfortable shoes.  Please ensure they have a jacket with them.  
We will be starting and finishing the walk from the P3-7 playground.  Families are welcome to come and cheer the children on at the start or the end of the walk.  When the pupils return to school, they will go back to their classes for a drink and a biscuit and will finish school at the usual time.

Our timings are:

P1 and 2 pupils will walk 1.5 miles starting at 1:40pm.  Returning between 2:10-2:25pm.  

P3 and 4 will walk 2.5 miles starting at 1:30pm. Returning between 2:30-2:50pm. 

P5, P6 and P7 walk 3 miles starting at 1:25pm and back to school between 2:45-3pm.

If you have already volunteered, please check your emails for a separate email with information. It would be very helpful if there were another few volunteers to support on the walk. Please email admin@balgreen.edin.sch.uk if you can help out with a class.

On Monday, please return your child's sponsorship form to school so we can sign and verify they completed the walk. We will send it back home ready for you to collect in the money raised.
Please send the sponsorship money into school between Monday 11th and Thursday 14th November.
