Trade Terrific Toys - Wednesday 26th March
After the success of our Toy Swap almost 2 years ago, pupils have shown interest in hosting another which will take place in school on Wednesday 26th March. In line with the aims of our Eco Committee and our overall goal to be a more sustainable school, this is an excellent way to reduce waste and reuse items, as well as share the joy of every child receiving a new toy! Our Eco Committee pupil group will take a leading role in advertising, setting up, and manning the Toy Swap throughout the day.
We are hopeful that we will receive enough toy donations for all pupils to take at least one 'new' toy home. To make this idea a success, please can each child bring in a toy (or a few toys - up to 4 max) that they no longer play with, which is in good condition and has all its pieces. This may include - board games, card games, jigsaws, cuddly toys, playmobile, Lego kits, action figures, dolls, cars, trains. Please do NOT send in toy guns / weapons / electronic devices. If there are toys leftover at the end of the day, we will set up a table in the upper playground after school in which learners will have the chance to take another home.
Toy donations are to be sent into school with your child the week beginning 17th March.
