Football Coaching Programme
We are delighted to announce that our City of Edinburgh Council extra-curricular football coaching programme shall be returning in a few weeks’ time. We run a variety of sessions for boys and girls aged 3-12 years from our Forrester / St Augustine’s Community Sports Hub on Fridays and Saturdays. The sessions are fun, engaging and developmental for all players, regardless of experience level and are delivered by our Scottish FA accredited coaching staff. Outdoor Learning Timetable term 1
Attached are the timetables for Outdoor Learning that starts on Monday 23rd August. On days when classes have outdoor learning pupils should not wear school uniform but clothes that can get muddy. The woods look amazing at the moment and we are looking forward to getting back outdoors with classes.

PE Timetable Term 1 & 2 (from 23rd August)
Attached is the timetable that will run from Monday 23rd August to 17th December. We would encourage pupils to wear PE kit to school on the day they have PE. We intend to use our astro for PE as much as we can so are planning for it to be outdoors in these warmer months. Please dress appropriately for the weather- if it is sunny then shorts/leggings and t-shirts are ideal, however if it is cloudier or cooler then joggers...

Return to School & Week 1 PE timetable
We are very excited to be welcoming back everyone tomorrow. Staff have been working hard to get classes ready with the school being closed for most of the holidays. Some trees were removed from Pansy Walk by the gate over the holidays and we have had parts of the playground repaired in the P3-7 area. Start Times for Balgreen Primary
Below is a table with the starting times and end times for P2-7 classes from Wednesday 18th August. Primary 1 classes have separate times Wednesday/Thursday this week that were issued before the holidays. With COVID guidance seeing a gradual relaxing of the need for bubbles we are moving classes to stage bubbles that will see both classes at each stage entering the school at the same time eg. P3a and P3b will now start at the same time of 8.50am....
