P7 Tynecastle Transition bands
Football Transition Event All Primary 7 children will be visiting Tynecastle High School on Wednesday 20th March to participate in a football tournament alongside other cluster schools. We will be leaving school during lunch time and the event will run until the end of the day. All children will be dismissed from Tynecastle High School at 3.15pm on Wednesday 20th of March. Primary 1 Bookbug Bags and P2-3 Read Write Count Bags
Just a reminder about our Reading Information event on Thursday 16th November at 1.30pm in the school hall. Coffee and teas will be available from 1.15pm onwards. This will be followed by an activity session in the P1-3 classrooms, focusing on one of the stories from the book bags. Industrial Action - Wednesday 8th
Attached is a letter from the authority indicating that all primary schools will be closed on the next planned day of industrial action, Wednesday 8th November. This means that the school will be closed to all pupils that day.

BookBug Bags and Read Write Count Bags
Primary 1 Bookbug Bags and P2-3 Read Write Count Bags During Book Week Scotland, your child will receive a free bag of books and activities from the Scottish Government’s Read, Write, Count Campaign. The bag is designed to help you and your child to have fun with reading, writing and counting at home. P1-3 Halloween
The children in P1-3 are welcome to dress up for Hallowe’en on Tuesday 31st October, however we ask that no masks are brought to school. Reminder: All money for Tricky Ricky’s Magic Show should be paid via Parent Pay by tomorrow, Friday 27th October.

Tricky Ricky Magic Show 1st November 2023
I am delighted to announce that P1-3 will have a visit from Tricky Ricky the Magician on Wednesday 1st November. The cost of this event is £2.50 per child. This should be paid via Parent Pay by Wednesday 25th October 2023. This event has always been extremely popular in the past and I am sure the children (and staff!) will have a wonderful time.
