Sponsored Walk Balgreen
Just a reminder that on Thursday 27th April, the pupils of Balgreen Primary School will be taking part in a Sponsored Walk. The money raised by the pupils will be used to maintain our Trim Trails! All sponsor sheets should be returned to school on the day of the Sponsored Walk to allow school staff to sign them off. Easter Egg Competition
Our annual Easter Egg Competition will be held on Tuesday 28th March. This year we have opened up the competition to all year groups. Children are asked to decorate a boiled egg and bring it to school on either Monday 27th or Tuesday 28th March. In assembly today, the Rights Respecting School Pupil Group shared information about how Shelter Boxes can help people in the aftermath of climate and natural disasters. Toy Swap - Tuesday 7th March
Pupils have had the super idea to reuse old toys by holding a Toy Swap on Tuesday 7th March. This was a lovely idea which came to my attention via the Pupil Council reps who speak to their classmates on a monthly basis about how to improve the school. Parents' Evening Feb 2023
Please see attachment with information about the upcoming Parent-Teacher consultations. Please note bookings are live from Thursday 26th January at 8pm and close on Wednesday 1st February at 12 Noon. Scots' Night Choir P3-7
On the evening of Thursday 2nd February we will be celebrating Scots' Night at Balgreen Primary School. Children from throughout the school will be selected to perform poems, songs and dances. In addition to this, we are putting together a short life choir, run by Mrs O'Donnell (P5a teacher). Children from P3 - P7 are eligible to join the choir.
