Rose Day - Helpers
Thank you to the 4 parents / carers who have volunteered to help with this. This is another plea for volunteers to help with refreshments for Rose Day Teas on Thursday 30th June, to help set up, serve and clear up from 2-4pm. Please reply to the school admin asap if you are able to help at all. Reminder that this is a lovely send off for P7 pupils and their parents but we need helpers to make it work.

Rose Day Baking Donations
As the end of term is fast approaching, we would like to let you know about our Rose Day Celebrations. On Thursday 30th June, pupils and staff of Balgreen Primary School will gather for an end of term celebration at Saughton Park Bandstand (weather dependent). Health and Wellbeing Census 2021-22

Lost Property - Is it yours?
Please find attached lost property from the past week. These items are situated in the lost property box, in the corridor just past the office. These items will be held for 1 week and if not claimed they will be put into our pre-loved uniform boxes of given to charity. Please try to remember to label your child's clothes, it's the easiest and quickest way for your child's items to get back to you.

Balgreen Culture Day
At Balgreen, we are very proud of our diversity and want to celebrate and raise awareness of the many and varied cultures, languages, nationalities and religions represented by our pupils. Balgreen PS May Newsletter
Please see attached the May edition of our newsletter. It has been a busy month and next month is looking likely to be busy too. Can I remind you that tomorrow was originally planned to be a school holiday but this is no longer the case as the holiday date has been moved to the start of June to be part of the Queen's Jubilee celebrations.

Free Bike Safety Check
The council planning to run a Dr Bike Session on Saturday 21 May from 10 am – 2pm on the Old Colt Bridge. There will be a stall from Sustrans and the Police are also coming to offer advice on bike theft prevention. See attached for more details.
