Christmas Events
Please find attached the calendar for our Christmas Events. Once again, we are grateful to Aegon for supporting many of these events. Further information about ordering tickets for the P3 Nativity and P1-7 Christmas Song Concerts will be sent home tomorrow. Please check your child’s school bags.

Storytime P3
As you will be aware, P3s have launched their new reading for enjoyment incentive - Balgreen Storytime. The bookcase will be available at the start and end of each day. Attached is some more information about this wonderful resource as well as a list of benefits of regular reading with your child. Happy reading! Balgreen PS Book Week Scotland/ Wear what you want day
Monday 14th marks the start of Book Week Scotland and will see pupils at Balgreen Primary School undertake a range of activities to promote a love of reading. Monday Outdoor Learning Workshops
Classes in Primary 1 to Primary 4 will be taking part in Outdoor Learning workshops on Monday 7th November. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for being outdoors i.e. waterproof and warm clothes.

Primary 1 - change to timetable
There has been a change to our timetable this term so here are our new dates for PE; P1A will now have PE every Friday. P1B will now have two shorter PE lessons on Monday and Thursday We will still have outdoor learning on alternate Fridays so children will need to bring wellies to change into on these days.
