P1 and P2 Dalkeith trip
This is a reminder that P1 and P2 are visiting Fort Douglas at Dalkeith Country Park on Thursday 8th June 2023. We will be leaving school at 9.00a.m sharp and returning for normal finishing time. A snack, a full water bottle, waterproof jacket, trainers and sun cap will be required. If it is a sunny day, please ensure your child comes to school with sunscreen applied prior to the school trip. After a 4 year hiatus, Balgreen's Got Talent is back for 2023! This is a really exciting opportunity for children to showcase their wider achievements and for us as a school to celebrate their many skills and talents. Sponsored Walk Balgreen
Just a reminder that on Thursday 27th April, the pupils of Balgreen Primary School will be taking part in a Sponsored Walk. The money raised by the pupils will be used to maintain our Trim Trails! Easter Egg Competition
Our annual Easter Egg Competition will be held on Tuesday 28th March. This year we have opened up the competition to all year groups. Children are asked to decorate a boiled egg and bring it to school on either Monday 27th or Tuesday 28th March. In assembly today, the Rights Respecting School Pupil Group shared information about how Shelter Boxes can help people in the aftermath of climate and natural disasters.
