Families Connect This is a reminder that there are still some places available for our parenting programme Families Connect beginning Friday 6th October from 9.00am to 11am. Families Connect is a programme that helps parents and carers to support their children’s learning at home. Industrial Action September 2023
You may be aware of the planned industrial action planned to take place on Tues 26th-Thursday 28th September. If this action goes ahead this will lead to all schools being closed to pupils on those dates. Please see the attached letter from the authority. We will issue further communication later on this week about what learning for pupils will look like on those days.

Balgreen P2 Assembly - 20th September
To P2 parents and carers, We would like to remind you that our ‘Flying Scotsman Celebration Assembly’ is tomorrow Wednesday 20th September at 2:10pm. This event will be held in our school gym hall, and we ask that parents and carers enter the school through the infant playground and gym hall doors.

P5 Sharing Learning - Friday 6th October
Dear P5 parents and Carers, Primary 5 are working towards their John Muir Bronze award. One aspect of the certification is 'sharing' our knowledge and wild spaces. This is a reminder that P1 and P2 are visiting Fort Douglas at Dalkeith Country Park on Thursday 8th June 2023. We will be leaving school at 9.00a.m sharp and returning for normal finishing time.
