Free Bike Safety Check
The council planning to run a Dr Bike Session on Saturday 21 May from 10 am – 2pm on the Old Colt Bridge. There will be a stall from Sustrans and the Police are also coming to offer advice on bike theft prevention. See attached for more details.

Mid Morning Milk Bookings
Please be aware that milk bookings for the period 23/05/2022 until 01/07/2022 are now live. Bookings will close on Tuesday 24th May at midnight. If you wish your child to have milk in this period, please pay £4.65 via ParentPay. Please note that if your child is entitled to free milk this will be provided. Similarly, if you have paid annually.

Book Fair
The Book Fair has arrived in school with hundreds of new children’s books to browse and buy. Come and join us! Children will have the opportunity to browse the selection of books on either Wednesday or Thursday with their class next week, with a further opportunity to view books on parents’ evening. Lost Property/ Pre Loved Clothes
Please find attached a PDF with all the lost property that has been found at the school. This is all items without children's names which needs to be reunited with its owner. This lost property will be with the lost property team until Wednesday when it will be taken back to school and available on Wednesday/Thursday evening, during parent consultations, in the school gym hall for you to collect your child's item. Parent Consultation Bookings May 2022

Healthy Eating School
Balgreen Primary School endeavours to be a “Healthy Eating School” and we have discussed at assembly today the importance of bringing healthy snacks for morning break. The children suggested that cereal bars, a piece of fruit, a small bag of baked crisps, vegetable sticks, a lo-sugar biscuit or a small sandwich would be appropriate.
